Steel Radial
A-Grade
  • Virgin casing
  • No more than (2) nail holes
  • No section repairs / x breaks
  • No cuts of breaks
  • No exposed steel
  • Both sidewalls ingoodcondition
  • No spot repairs
  • No weather of sidewall cracking
  • No pulled sidewall wires
B-Grade
  • Virgin casing
  • Some exposed steel (tread area only) must be retreadable
  • Balance same as "R1" grade in all cases
R1-Grade
  • Retreaded once top or full
  • No more than (3) nail holes
  • No more than (2) spot repairs
  • Balance same as "A" grade in all cases
Bias Ply
A-Grade
Nylon
  • Virgin casing (not retreaded)
  • No more than (3) nail holes
  • No section repairs / x breaks
  • No cuts or breaks
  • Both sidewalls in good condition
  • No weather or sidewall cracks
B-Grade
Nylon
  • Virgin casing
  • No more than (3 to 4) nail holes
  • No section repairs
  • No more than 10% (small plugs)
  • One sidewall in good condition
